A tip-in page is a full-color page that is inserted into the front of the journal. It is sometimes called a page insert or a liner page. It can be on the left which would be on the back side of the cover. It can be on the right which would be on the first page. Or it can span both the left and right for a double tip-in. The print on this inserted page can be 4-color process. It's perfect for conveying details about an event or product.
